Another beautiful day of work in the Okanagan on Highway 97 at the North Beach Rockslide Project in Summerland.

Elevation Technical Services is providing Project Supervision services and working with the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and its contractors on this project.

It was great to have the Engineering and Project Management Team out on-site to discuss the project and view the successes to date.

The project has been progressing thanks to the excellent collaborative efforts of the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, Thurber Engineering Ltd., AIM Roads, Chute Creek Contracting, Dynamite Construction, Valley Environmental, BCW Traffic Management, Tetra Tech, and Stantec.

Highway 97 travellers can check DriveBC.ca for updates on scheduled closures. Remember to obey the signage and traffic control personnel when travelling through the site. Stay aware of crews and equipment on or near the highway. Safety is everyone’s top priority!
