Watkins Creek Culvert Replacement

The Watkins project consisted of a 2700mm culvert replacement in combination with a roadway upgrade, flares, enhanced drainage, upgraded riprap for channel and structure protection, and placement of concrete roadside barriers.

Watkins Creek culvert crossing is located along Highway 16, approximately 46.8 km east of Burns Lake, B.C. The purpose of the Watkins Creek project was to replace the current deteriorated 1600mm CSP culvert with a new 2700mm CSP culvert. A temporary bridge was provided while the culvert was being replaced. The roadway was upgraded, enhanced drainage was created, riprap for channel and structure protection was placed, and concrete roadside barriers were placed.

The Elevation team provided Project Supervision services which included: 

- Construction phase services: daily project supervision, weekly progress reports, reviewing applicable contractor submissions, and providing overall quality assurance
